Emily Diebold, DPT
Emily Diebold, DPT, holds a Doctor of Physical therapy from Chapman University. She graduated from Belmont University earning a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Emily seeks a special interest in the treatment of dancers and performers.
In 2015 Emily began giving lectures on proper strengthening techniques to improve dance performance and injury prevention to young ballet dancers in the Los Angeles area. Emily has had the pleasure of working on various touring theater shows in LA such as “Book of Mormon”, “Motown”, “Caberet” and “Beautiful”.
In her free time Emily loves exploring mountains with hiking, backpacking and traveling the world.
Emily hopes to contribute to the JMP team by pulling from her understanding of human body movement and manual therapy to provide patient-centered care. She strives to continually expand her knowledge to emphasize a holistic, comprehensive approach to help patients achieve their rehabilitation and movement goals.
Emily has a background in dance, training with DanceWest Ballet based out of Chicago and Belmont University Dance Company. She has performed lead roles in “The Nutcracker” and “Giselle,” along with original contemporary works choreographed by Ricardo Moyano. Over the years, Emily has participated in multiple regional and national dance festivals encompassing technique classes, injury prevention lectures and performances.
