Meet Our Therapists
Sheri Peterson, P.T.
Sheri graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary's College in 1992. She graduated Cum Laude, and was ranked #1 in her physical therapy program. Sheri was clinic instructor to student interns at the Kerlan Jobe Othopedic Clinic and interned at the Dakota Rehabilitation Neuro Rehab Center in Fargo, North Dakota. She has been a staff therapist at JMP since 1992, and works out of the Sherman Oaks clinic.
In 2004 Sheri completed a Pilates Instructor course in accordance with the guidelines established by the Pilates Method Alliance at Core Conditioning in Studio City. She is currently treating patients using Pilates principles with mat techniques, but is looking forward to having a complete Pilates section (universal reformer, trapeze table, etc.) within the next few months.
As a former competitive ballroom dancer with husband Sean, Sheri especially enjoys treating dancers. She has rehabilitated professional dancers from both the American Ballet Theater and Joffrey Ballet. Sheri still enjoys to dance, as well as spending time with her husband and two children, and being outdoors.
